With more than 5 million users, Crypto.com offers payment alternatives for the legacy financial system. This allows users to “take back control of their money”. With Booking.com and Crypto.com, consumers have exclusive access to 400,000 property booking discounts and access to more than 28 million accommodations globally.

The cooperation with Booking.com allows Crypto.com to offer its users an advantage in preparation for the reopening of travels, once the lockdown measures that keep major travel destinations isolated are lifted. Data from the Crypto.com indicates that 65% of users are “excited to travel again in 2021”.

In addition, consumers are preparing to make more “conscious” spending when choosing travel destinations. That’s why members have enabled seasonal promotions and benefits that can be used by Crypto.com Visa cardholders via the Crypto.com app.

Crypto.com CEO and co-founder Kris Marszalek said the following about the cooperation:

In 2020, our Crypto.com Visa Card program grew to become the most widely available card of its kind, and we know that travel perks are a highly sought-after benefit. Our user base also grew in 2020, and we now serve over 5 million users around the world, who are eager to travel again in 2021. We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Booking.com, the first of many we’ll be announcing this year.
